Created a website for Touch The World Uganda, a ministry in Uganda working to equip the people of Adak, Uganda to live in community of sustainability, interdependency and spiritual transformation. Website uses custom post types, multiple types of post loops, self-adjusting background and lots of other fun custom edits. I'd love for you to check it out and let me know your thoughts on the (almost) final product.

Great website. One suggestion is to have the slideshow to be a it slower so that viewers can appreciate the message. Also, just to be picky, the text of the slideshow on the right is either 2 or 3 lines. Maybe you can place the first line 'through' consistently throughout all the images. Or even make the text bigger. I think the message is important, maybe as important as the pictures. I've been learning about typography lately and there's a lot of cool stuff that can be done to make text more impactful. I'm envying everybody's customisation here including yours. One bug though. I'm looking at it using my iPhone. The text on individual posts are hidden when viewed using the iPhone. I had similar problems and found that it was caused by the Disqus plugin. You need to add something to the style sheet.

Any chance you'd be willing to share some of the customizations you've done on this for other non-profits to use?

Thanks for the thoughts. I was not a huge fan of how the slideshow images came out myself, but that is what the client preferred, so I deferred to them! I did slow it down though. With the last update of the slideshow plugin, it reset the slideshow speed. Back down to 6 seconds instead of the 3! Thank you as well for the heads up on the Disqus issue - I will certainly take a look at it!
